Ready to do even more to protect people, pollinators, and the planet? You can become a Good Neighbor Iowa Local Champion.
Local Champions are parents and grandparents, business owners, HOA members, renters, adults, teens, retirees, green thumbs and not-so-green thumbs. Just like prairies thrive with a diverse collection of plants, our Local Champion network flourishes when we have a true cross-section of Iowans invested in improving health in our state. Anyone can join, anyone can advocate, and all are welcome because all are impacted. Read the Local Champion Tier diagram to see where you best fit.
Local Champions across Iowa work together with their neighbors to end pesticide use on lawns and in public spaces. With resources to help you have neighborhood chats, bring solutions to city council and school board meetings, or spread the word with Letters to the Editor, the Good Neighbor Iowa team is with you each step of the way.
You are free to dedicate as much or as little time to spreading the word about the benefits of ending pesticide use as you like. We know some seasons of life are just busier, and we appreciate any step you take with us in this work.
